Who We Are

RoadMode is an early route planning service for safer parent-supervised learner-driver sessions. The website is operated from the United Kingdom.

What We Collect Now

The current public website is a static early version. It does not currently create user accounts, take payments, store route history, run analytics, or collect personal data through a RoadMode backend service.

Map Tool

The map runs in your browser. If you enter postcodes, those postcodes are sent to Postcodes.io for lookup. Route coordinates are sent to a routing service so a road-snapped route can be drawn. Map tiles are requested from OpenStreetMap infrastructure. RoadMode does not store those map requests on its own server.

If you choose to use live GPS during Passenger mode, your browser asks for device location permission. RoadMode uses that position in the browser to move the live marker and advance the guidance. The current static website does not store live GPS history on a RoadMode server.

Contact Emails

If you email us, we will receive your email address, name if included, and the message you send. We use that information to reply to you and keep a basic record of the conversation.

Future Payments

If RoadMode adds paid packs, payments should be handled by a payment provider such as Stripe. Card details should be processed by the payment provider rather than stored by RoadMode.

Future Location And Route Data

If RoadMode later adds account-based route planning, it may need a postcode, approximate location, route choice, session length, and selected lesson focus. The product should collect the minimum data needed and make saved route history optional.

Cookies

The current static website does not intentionally set marketing or analytics cookies. If analytics, ads, or affiliate tracking are added later, this policy and the cookie controls should be updated first.

Your Rights

UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain uses of your personal data. To ask about your data, contact hello@roadmode.app.

Safety And Children

RoadMode is designed for supervising adults and learner drivers. It should not be used by the learner while driving.
